Footer editing

Hello, I’m working on the website’s footer, and I’m attaching a screenshot to make my question more visual. The issue is that I don’t have any entries created, and I would like to have projects from my portfolio appear in this section of the footer instead. I like the aesthetic displayed in the footer, with both images and text. Is it possible to do this, and how would I go about it?

Go to Appearance > Widgets and add the recent post widget in the footer columns where you want to show the recent posts.
