Frequently asked questions on each product

    Hi Team,

    We run into many questions from our customers which could be put up on the product page as individual FAQ, is there a way to add this on each product through a collapsible widget?

    Adding them in the product description does not help at all as people don’t even bother to read description most of the time.

    Example (our amazon product page):

    Hello,

    Sorry to say but there isn’t a direct option available under the Theme to do the required change that you mentioned, unfortunately.

    But by using the Custom Single Product layout under the Theme, you can create Custom Product layouts for the Products. Here is the guide to that: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/single-product-page-builder/

    In that Custom layout, you can use the Theme’s Accordion element and in that you can write your own Texts in terms of Questions and Answers that you like: https://snipboard.io/Z0ymHW.jpg

    But if you want to do it specifically for specific Products, then you would need to create multiple Single Product layouts and apply those layouts to specific products through the Edit Condition option available for Custom Layouts.

    The custom layout option you shared should work but I think that would put same FAQ on all the products using that layouts however I wanted separate FAQs for each product. Is my understanding correct?

    If yes – are you suggesting to create new custom layout for each of the produt/SKU?

    Hello,

    Yes, we have gotten your concern correctly and responded accordingly.

    If your content for the FAQs will remain the same for all Products then you can create only one Layout and apply it to all Products having that Accordion element added.

    If your content of FAQs will vary from Product to Product then you would need to create multiple Single Product layouts and then change the content of the FAQs accordingly.

    If the situation is a bit different on your end where certain Categories of Products have the same FAQs then you can apply your layout to a specific Category too in this way you won’t need to create too many Layouts because the layout would be already applied to a certain Category Products.
