    Hi,

We want to use the search function to search the whole site, not just one post type (e.g. product only or posts only).

Please advise how to do this, as the only settings I found were in the Header Builder for the search object, and even switching this from Products to Posts did nothing (i.e. still showed only products), and even if it did work, as I said we want to search the entire site, not just 1 product type or another.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Sorry, but there is no such option in our theme and WordPress by default. It may require additional code customization or extra plugin but we don’t have an instruction for this. It is out of our theme support scope.

The only way to do this at the moment is to put a few search forms on the website. For example use search by products in the header and search by posts in the sidebar.

    Best Regards.

Can you advise how to get a widget into the header?

I see there is a header editor that allows WPBakery elements but that would require at best using a shortcode. How do I put an actual Widget into the header like most other themes allow?

    Hello,

If you want to use a widget in header. First you have to add your widget in a specific widget area which are available in Appearance >> Widgets. Then add a new html block and use “Widegetised Sidebar” element with Wp-Bakery and select your specific widget area which you want in header from sidebar option and publish it.

Then go to WoodMart >> Header Builder >> Your default header >> Add html block element and then select your specific html block which you recently created.

    Best Regards.
