Gap on main page below header

Hello there,
we have a gap on the main page wrapper right below the header.
The issue is that even though it can be disabled with CSS, it also effects the layout of the single products, so then the product pictures “stick” inside the header without the gap.
Can it be disabled without effecting the product layouts in any way?
