    Hello,

The final purpose is to have google fonts 1000% local.
I chose 2 (palanquin + lato), and set them in custom font
    https://snipboard.io/xFaNS8.jpg

All fonts in Typography (title, text, etc.) are set as being “custom” and one of the 2 (palanquin + lato) chosen above.

Though, googleapis are still called to get Palanquin and Lato.

    What am I missing?

    Best regards

    Hi,

Could you please send us a link to your website where we can see this issue? Note that they might be still called by some of the installed plugins like Elementor (WP Bakery), Slider revolution, or others.

    Kind Regards

    Hi,

I desactivated all plugins except woocommerce, and the issue is still there.

Try to change your custom font names to “Lato-local” for example. They shouldn’t have the same names as Google Fonts.

    Hi,

I tried, it works, indeed like for yours. But … when you go on website from scratch, the first page / view is delivered in Arial. What is inappropriate.

    “Custom font” are not here:

For any website, custom font certainly matter at least as much as your WD on, no? Consider it, please.

As I know nothing about codes, would you mind tell me what I shall add in header.php to have this “preload key request” like for WD font, that I could insert via a plugin. Or, any other option that you would consider to be better?

As a reminder, to be GDPR compliant, fonts shall be local. If they are downloaded from a 3rd party, then, this 3rd party is aware of the visit.

    Kind regards

    Hello,

There is no such option in our theme by default. But you can try to apply the solution from this topic https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/preload-key-requests-2/#post-233456
Use that code to preload any font/file on your website.

    Kind Regards

    Hello,
Yes, I understand and will try.
You claim that your theme is GDPR compliant. If fonts are loaded from google or typekit, it’s not GDPR compliant. I am unclear here: what do you recommend to make a website with Woodmart which is GDPR compliant?
    Kind regards

    Hello,

But our customers have a choice not to use Typekit or Google fonts. Your website’s GDPR compliance depends on a lot of factors, not the theme only.
