We have received mail from google ads for us to add script codes. But http://prntscr.com/rmzvsj where do we need to add the function code? Can we add in the function.php page? Dimension is not an issue, but it is helpful.

If you need to add any code to the header / footer you would better use the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/
