sepcParticipantHi,
I’ve used the header builder to centre the homepage category menu. The text was white and centre aligned. However after adding html Block menus to some of them, the alignment has gone to the left (in spite of the centre setting still in header builder) and the text is not white as it was before.
I created a test menu without the html blocks and made it the main menu and it was displaying fine again. So its something specifically to do with that menu now I’ve added the HTML blocks to it?
Thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Thank you very much for choosing our theme and for contacting us.
You have provided limited access I cannot check the settings. I need administrator rights.
Please check the text color scheme in the row of header builder https://prnt.sc/sda57v
Also, check the text color scheme in the page settings: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/options-for-pages/
if it does not help, please provide full rights I will check the settings.
You have now sticky clone header, you can disable it in Header settings https://gyazo.com/43455b0c67fbd7a2957ed30535b985fb
Then make the necessary rows sticky in the row settings https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/header-builder/header-rows-columns-configuration/
Best Regards

sepcParticipantplease try again I’ve changed the user rights.
I wanted the sticky clone header as I need the logo, search and cart icons in the sticky bar.
The extra row that is sticky is sticky in spite of the row not being designated as sticky though. On a side note is there any way to customise the look of the sticky header clone, as in colour and included items etc?
Thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
The reason is the unclosed tag in HTML blocks. Disable them one by one till the problem has gone, then check the block wich was disabled before for all the tags.

sepcParticipantThank you, it appears there are multiple blocks causing the problem. For example the cat menu block. Do you know why this is happening? Is it because I copied the code from the classic view of one category to form a template for the next category?
When I load it showing the WPBakery view it looks fine?
How do I close the unclosed HTML tag?
Thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
There is an error in the code. Seems there is an unclosed tab. Next time, if you want to clone the template, follow the step on the video screen: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/html-blocks-2/#posts_products_page
First of all, deactivate the blocks one by one to detect which one contains the error. And then check this block and correct it.

sepcParticipantOk so I deactivated all of the ones that were throwing the error. all of them except the dog block menu. I then cloned the dog block using templates like your link suggested and reinserted all the right text. However it is still doing the same thing as before ?
can you tell me which bit is the unclosed tag?
May 11, 2020 at 11:31 am #194068
sepcParticipantIt seems to be when I add the blog section at the bottom. When I remove this, the menu appears white and centred again as it should be.
But I added the blog section from the woodmart blog template so why would that throw an error?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
I have removed the HTML blocks and here is the menu https://prnt.sc/sewv84
You need to search for the problem in the HTML blocks. You have copied them incorrectly. Try to recreate them or check each item in it.
Best Regards
May 14, 2020 at 1:00 pm #194977
sepcParticipantI recreated it from scratch without copying a block or any other thing. Reptile-2-html-block. Created from scratch with WPBakery editor.
Still the same issue. Please find out exactly why the theme menu is doing this.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
This is a specific feature when you assign Product categories menu items as main. I have created a new testing menu and added HTML block it works as it should. https://gyazo.com/8a43892a40dc6c3cc049ca7cc67d81d3
We shall check deeper on how to fix this issue. And we shall back to you.

sepcParticipantHave you tried adding the blog section at the bottom as i have on my menu?
Perhaps that is what is triggering it.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
No, I have tested with Blog chess and it is the same. https://gyazo.com/0c972e179fb9ed8b95c8c58536a4375f
Please update your credentials my colleague cannot log in to check.

sepcParticipantwithout the blog it appears to work?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
When you assign a menu consisting of pages as the main menu it works regardless of adding or removing the blog.
When I add a blog to the category menu, nothing changes.

sepcParticipantSo I followed your instructions and recreated the html block from scratch using WPBakery and the menu still does not work unless i removed the 3 blog squares at the bottom of the html block.
Have you figured out a solution that works?
May 18, 2020 at 8:48 am #195841
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
The issue is not caused by HTML block. The issue is caused by the Product categories menu.

sepcParticipantBefore you said the problem was in the HTML blocks now its not in the HTML blocks?
These answers are very frustrating. Where is the problem in the product categories menu? HOW DO I FIX THIS ISSUE?
I’ve recreated the menu using custom links for the headers instead of product categories and still have the same issue. The new menu is called “Category Head Nav”. Still the same issue with the colour and alignment when I add the HTML blocks.
Please give me an exact answer how to fix, not these vague answers all over the place. Do you know or not know?
May 19, 2020 at 3:06 pm #196161
sepcParticipantnever mind I figured it out. It was the HTML block and it was the blog section as I stated.
For some reason it needs an empty buffer column on either side otherwise the formatting of the main nav menu gets thrown off.

Elise NoromitMemberOK. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
