High FCP and LCP values with Woodmart theme

I’m experiencing performance issues with my website using the Woodmart theme. According to Google Core Web Vitals reports, my FCP (First Contentful Paint) and LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) values are too high:

FCP: around 2.9 s

LCP: around 3.2 s

As a result, the website fails the Core Web Vitals assessment.

Could you please help me identify what might be causing these high values in the Woodmart theme and suggest possible optimizations? (e.g., theme settings, lazy loading configuration, CSS/JS optimization, preloading critical resources, etc.)

Our theme is optimized for speed and should not significantly slow down your website. However, it’s possible that your website’s performance is affected by the content you have added. For instance, the use of too many plugins, large unoptimized images, or other resources can slow down your website.

In this case, you need to read the Google Pagespeed report recommendations and fix them one by one. As for the LCP image, we will add an extra option for LCP image preload in our 8.3 update. But there are still some issues that are not related to the theme itself. For example:
