For some reason I haven’t been able to add demo content. I’ve had problems uploading the theme in the first place, so I’m glad I’ve got something and I’m trying to customise it bit by bit now.

I am looking to create a home page with four columns like the three on this demo page: https://demo.xtemos.com/basel/home-fashion/. Is this possible? If so, can you give me an example for the content, please? If you give me what is there I can just customise it for my site.

In order to upload demo, first of all, make sure you have installed and activated all the plugins in Appearance > Install plugins.

If you still cannot upload the demo, provide your site admin access.

Thank you. Hmmm, I’m not sure where to insert that code now!

I’ve attempted an import like the help documentation says, but haven’t got anywhere with it, sorry. Please can you look in the private content for access details to my WordPress Dashboard. Are you able to upload the demo content for me? It would be really helpful to have the demo content pages in the background to refer back to while putting together the site.

I also would like to ask… if you do that, will the little I’ve already customised (using child theme) be lost? It wouldn’t be the end of the world, but if it can be preserved it would be great.

1. Create a new page, make sure you are in the Classic mode, switch to the text editor and paste.

If you remember, I wasn’t able to install it at all to begin with. I don’t actually know how what is there got there. I’ve not had time to deal with it, but we’ve had big problems, you can see my first post. I thought I couldn’t use it at all.

I will try to reinstall, but I worry I will get into the same difficulties.

In order to import necessary pages, navigate to Woocommerce – Status – Tools – Create Pages and import http://prntscr.com/jv6y8w

You need to install all the theme plugins to get the option to upload the demo.
