alisina87ParticipantHello there
Hope u r doing well
A few questions:
1-How Can I add WooCommerce custom attributes (NOT Global Attributes) to the each relevant product categories ? Our site has many categories(subcategories) and each category has their own attributes so we can’t have just global attributes to set , so we adding products we had to add many custom attributes for each product.
I tried to add some but see only Global Attributes from the dropdown lists.2-We use booster for woocommerce plugin in order to convert USD to UAH , We added Filter products by price to the shop page widget area , but what we see is actually the USD price not UAH , How can we fix it?
3-How can we add a little bit of user friendly Category section on the left of the Shop Page? We would liked to show the visual connection of the current Cat to the parent Cat via border or background color or something like that.

alisina87ParticipantHello again,
My first question actually was how to add filters from custom attributes(NOT Global attributes) that I have added to each product while adding them to the each relevant Cat?
I tried to add filters to the shop page via widgets area via WOODMART WooCommerce Layered Nav but only global attributes appeared in the drop down menu to choose .
Here is another question , How to add these filters individually for each Category?Best Regards

Elise NoromitMemberHello,

They are added individually, this is Woocommerce functionality and our theme does not influence.
2-We use booster for woocommerce plugin in order to convert USD to UAH , We added Filter products by price to the shop page widget area , but what we see is actually the USD price not UAH , How can we fix it?
Please make the full backup of your site and check the issue on the Storefront theme to detect if our theme causes the problem. Storefront is a free theme developed by WooСommerce.
3-How can we add a little bit of user friendly Category section on the left of the Shop Page? We would liked to show the visual connection of the current Cat to the parent Cat via border or background color or something like that.
You can add the Product categories into the Appearance > Widget > Shop page widget area, enable and configure the sidebar in the shop page options: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/options-for-pages/
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

alisina87ParticipantHello
Let me ask my question this way:
We added lots of individual custom attributes for individual Categories , so they are not global attributes , and we want to use these attributes as an individual filter in their relevant Category pages, So the question is:
How to add these Filters Individually for each Category?
This is very important for us.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Woocommerce does not have this option, unfortunately. Please try to search for a plugin. We have not tested or heard about such a plugin that is why we can hardly recommend it.

alisina87ParticipantOK
Let’s say that we will register all the product attributes as global , so how can I use them as a filter for the each individual cat?
Is their a way to set a widget for each cat archive to add filter individually?September 18, 2021 at 4:57 pm #319509
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You need to add WOODMART WooCommerce Layered Nav widget to the Shop page widget area in the Appearance > Widgets.
Then enter the widget and you will see the option to choose the category where to show the attribute: https://gyazo.com/0bfa23ab7410136bd4687ec7da51a185

alisina87ParticipantHello again
So, If I want to add for example filters for a cat by color, size and type , I have to add 3 times WOODMART WooCommerce Layered Nav to the widget, right?
We have over 40 cats and each of them have their own filters to add , how can we mange this trough the theme ? If for example we add over 20 filters to add , does it impact over performance using loops 20 time on the shop page?September 20, 2021 at 11:46 pm #319899
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
In this case, you would not be able to use this option. By default, Woocommerce does not have the option to show the filter in the appropriate category. You will have to add filters as if you did it in the Storefront theme.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards
