How to load google fonts locally?

thanks for the reply but I am a little lost here. I am trying to load google fonts which My theme (woodmart retail) uses by default and load them locally instead of from google to increase site speed. The link you have provided mentioned how to upload custom fonts.

Is it possible to tell which fonts is this theme using and how to upload the same locally? If you want I can share the admin details of the website. Do let Me know. Thanks.

If you do not set the integrated Google fonts in the Theme Settings > Typography, they will not be loaded, at the same time if you upload your custom font, no mater google or other, you will see your custom fonts in the special list “custom fonts”

Hello attached is the screenshot from the page. Are cabin and Lato the 2 fonts that are being used? I have to download this 2 from google and add as custom fonts?

After adding would I also have to remove them from the typography page or if custom fonts are set they automatically take precedence over other fonts? Thanks.

I think there is some confusion regarding the issue. I will try to explain. I am trying to make My website faster. Below is the result of gtmetrix.

Here you can check google fonts which are being used by this theme are taking a lot of time to load and thus slowing the website. So I was suggested that I should load the google fonts (which are already being used by this theme) locally to speed up the website.

Thus I would like to know

1.) Which google font does the theme woodmart retail use by default?

2.) And If I have to load them locally do I have to download them from google and upload them again as custom fonts?

The provided manual describes the steps in a very detailed manner with the screens attached. You need to have all the necessary file types and upload them as per the instruction. Our support does not cover the issues of getting the custom font, just follow the instruction. As soon as you upload toy fonts, set them in the Theme settings > Typography
