This demo is using a custom layout for a single product page when Custom Layouts enabled for product pages, which is why your made changes under the Theme Settings aren’t taking effect on that.
Navigate to Layouts > Layout to edit Single product layouts and configure the layout elements. To show description in a single product page, add the product content or product tabs widget to show the description.

To show the detailed product description on the single product page, you can use one of the following widgets in your Single Product Layout:
Product Tabs widget
Add the Product Tabs widget to your single product layout. It will display the default WooCommerce tabs such as description, Additional Information, Reviews, and Custom tabs (if configured)
You can disable the tabs you don’t want to show from the widget settings.

If you want to display only the product description separately (without tabs), add the Product Content widget to your Single Product Layout. This will show the full product description directly on the page.
