How to show categories as checkbox?

I want to show categories on the left side widget area as checkboxes so that visitors can select multiple checkbox/categories.

Same for the attribute-based filters.

We would recommend installing the free Classic widget plugin and adding the default Woocommerce widgets for Product Categories and Attributes. They have checkboxes.
