How to show custom search category in ajax search?

In ajax search, there is a option select category. Which category showing here? Is it customizable?

Empty categories can be excluded from the search, enable the option in the Theme Settings > Shop page > Sidebar and Title.

I don’t want to shows all the menu. I only want to show the parent menu. How can I do that?

You need to delete HTML blocks and sub-menu items.

You will have one level menu and not dorp-downs. Is that what you wanted?

Please see the attached image. I want to change this category. Here I want to show the custom category only the parent categories. And also remove the ‘Uncategorized’ category.
