Is it possible to skip the cart and direct users to the checkout page directly upon adding a product to cart with your theme?

By default, there is no such option in WooCommerce. You can try to use some additional plugin like this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/skip-cart-for-woocommerce/

It does not fight spams. There are a lot of spam and bot registration on my site.

You will have to find a plugin for that. The default Woocommerce does not provide such an option.
