How to update Basel theme

Hi, I just got a notification that there is an update for Basel theme. How do I update the them without overriding all the changes I have made? I’m using the child theme.

Hi,
I followed the documentation and some settings are lost. This is what I was afraid of.

It is mentioned in your docs to use the Child theme for customizations which is exactly what I’ve been doing but some changes such as shop setting, … are done through the dashboard, and all the theme changes have been reverted back (such as logo, shop settings, footer settings, …).

This is really frustrating. Will this happen every single time I update the theme?

Sorry for all the comments on this thread!I tried to find a way to delete/edit but it didn’t work.

It looks like the issue I was having was due to the fact that I had disabled some plugins. Please ignore this thread. It works now 🙂 phew
