    I turned off all plugins, but the error didn’t go away

    Menu walker class is overriden by a theme/plugin. Current value = NMI_Walker_Nav_Menu_Edit. Navigation menu permissions may still work. More information

    Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us your admin access so we can check it?

    Please, switch to the parent theme and check how it works.

    It means that you have added some code to the child theme that breaks the menu functionality.
