Image carousel on mobile for image scroll designed product pages

Is it possible to switch from image scroll product pages on desktop to a product page with an image carousel on mobile?

Isn’t there a way to achieve this easily through custom code? As the carousel appears on other design settings for product pages.

Could you please provide a screenshot how it should look on desktop and how on mobile devices so we can check is it possible to do this with a custom CSS?

We would like to create something similar to this:

For the product pages we have chosen ‘Images scroll’ within the theme settings. This creates the desired behavior on desktop. But on mobile we want to have a carousel similar to the example given above or to the view when is ‘Alternative’ is selected for the product page design.

We understand your request but unfortunately, we don’t have this functionality and there is no quick way to achieve this. It requires additional code customization for the template functionality.

I understand. Could you tell me what files the design value is passed through so I can look into it myself?

Images templates are located in the following files

woocommerce / single-product / product-thumbnails.php
