What size images must I upload to avoid this?

I want to upload horizontal images so that the client would see the full picture on the zoom, but the thumbnail would be a cropped picture. Is it possible?
Is it possible to make the thumbnails square instead of rectangular?

Please try to disable “Main carousel auto height ” and select “Zoom” in the Main image click action in the Theme Settings > Single Product > Images.

Image cropping allows making the images equal if they differ slightly. In the product page, you have the problem images are not proportional. I checked other images and they look properly.

Please replace the images and make them either square or reqtangualr. Their height should not differ considerably.

Image cropping is a standard feature of WordPress and Woocomerce, as the screenshots confirm.
Cropping does not work only in the case of the single product page.

Why does this function work for the shop page (https://www.wsamrazdlaciebie.pl/sklep/) and for the “FEATURED PRODUCTS” module on the homepage? The images there are square and cropped.

It’s definitely important for me to upload horizontally oriented images. This is a necessary characteristic of my products – a table with dishes arranged on it.
And all I need is a cropped image in the shape of a square or rectangle.

I also took your advice and uploaded different images, including square ones. But they all look equally bad.

The main image width сhanges the width while maintaining the aspect ratio. This option does not change the height and do not crop the image. Please check the option description on the screen: https://prnt.sc/93m95zuQryXH

If you need to change the aspect ratio of the image, you need to do that in the image editor and upload the ready image.

We also recommend using “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin and regenerating the thumbnails after each change in values.
