Image sizes

Hi there,

I’m using a template for the theme and just wondered how I can find out what would be the ideal image sizes to replace the standard image placeholders?
If you can see the link in private, all the images on the homepage I want to replace but to prevent theme conflicts and resizing issues I would like to stick to the sizes if possible. Can you tell me the best way please to find the sizes for each of the placeholders? Thanks!
