Instead of using the CSS to hide. You can create separate sections for Desktop and other devices and hide sections per device.

I know I often do it with elements, but as on your template it was a background-image css code: none; I thought you had kept the same formatting .. You are right it is easier to duplicate the section and hide tablet & mobile depending on the elements ..
