Increase speed while using svg for categories

Hello there,
I’m using icons for all over my categories but as you can see it influence all my speed.
Can you advice how to improve this?

Hi,

It is natural that each icon adds one more request to your website loading. But it doesn’t harm the performance a lot. Moreover, when the user goes to a second, third etc. page, all icons are loaded from its browser cache.

Yes i totally i understand you but as you know 1st page is very important, if 1st visitor gets to website and loads really heavily then he might leave.

You can check the performance with icons and without them to see if they slow your website down. We suggest you to run the test multiple times for both situations.

Any functions to disable them ? or i just need to hide via css somehow…?
I have many categories i can’t do it manually, hope you understand.

Unfortunately, there is no function to disable them. If you will hide them with CSS, files will still be loaded.
