Infinite redirects when going for %postname%

Greetings,
I have a problem for changing link structure – whenever I do it, it gives me infinite redirects error. Currently I want to display the drink this way site.com/category/pepsi, not a ?product=pepsi

Looks like it happens with the other default theme as well. How can I fix it?

Even basic ones like “shop” do not work properly.

Seems to be a problem in your server or caused by some of the installed plugins.

But all the plugins came with your theme, where should I look then?
Is there any extra settings that your theme requires to make this work?

This functionality doesn’t relate to our theme at all. As you already checked, it doesn’t work with other themes as well.

Basically the deletion of the slash “/” worked it out since it bounced back and forth between non-/ and / version of the URL. Can’t say why. It works now but this behavior is still strange.
