    Greetings XTemos team!
It seems that the update from 7.3.4 to 8.1.2 has caused the infinite scroll in the categories to stop working, although it is enabled in Theme Settings -> Product archive -> Products grid.

Please take a look at the staging site category link and admin login details in the private content.

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hello,

Maybe you are using Custom WooCommerce Builder layouts, which are part of WooCommerce Builder from WoodMart.

Navigate to Layouts > Edit Product Archive Layout > edit the product archive widget and choose the Products pagination:

Below are the documentation articles: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/

I need assistance with another issue, please:
The brands slider on the homepage stopped working after the update. Everything seems to be configured properly, but there is no slider. You can scroll all the way down on the homepage, it is the last block before the footer.

    Hello,

    01. Your infinite scrolling issue has been resolved. Navigate to Layout > Edit Product Archive Layout > Edit Archive product widget and choose the products pagination “Inherit from Theme Settings”. Then navigate to Theme Settings > Product Archive > Products Grid > Choose the pagination.

    02. The HTML Block [html_block id="1889044"] currently has no content, which is why the brand carousel isn’t displaying. I recommend using the Brand widget directly on the homepage to create the carousel. For your reference, I’ve already added the Brand widget below the “Brand” section title.

    Hi Aizaz,

Thanks as always for your prompt reply.

    1. Indeed the infinite scrolling issue has been resolved, and I appreciate your assistance with this.

    2. On our staging website, [html_block id="1889044"] does indeed have content (a Brands block) as you can see in the following screenshots:
    https://prnt.sc/vwJl2-nMf4sT
    https://prnt.sc/Kl77W5HJpwVr

It is important for me to be able to place the brands slider via an HTML block, as this allows me to place it anywhere on the website without having to rebuild it every time.

I’d appreciate it if you could look into this again.

    Best regards,
    Tom

Continuing my previous email, on the staging website homepage I have added both a brand new “Brands” block from scratch, as well as an HTML Block block with HTML block chosen.

For a brief moment one of them worked (I’m not sure which), and after refreshing the page it disappeared

It seems like something with the latest WoodMart update is causing issues with the brands slider.

    Hello,

I kindly recommend you to clear the cache of CDN, disable it temporarily and double check the issue after making the changes.

Hi Aizaz (or whoever else will read this message),

I have checked this more in depth with our developer and web hosting company – they have both confirmed that all forms of cache (LiteSpeed, CloudFlare, etc.) are completely disabled on our most updated staging site (https://dev2.wildguitars.co.il) and yet the brands slider is still not showing on our home page.

    Our developer:
    1. Turned off the LiteSpeed Cache
    2. Exempted the staging site from CloudFlare
    3. Checked the errors log
    4. Tested the site as a non-logged-in and logged-in customer
    5. Saved the home page and viewed it again

We would appreciate your additional assistance in resolving this issue.

Updated admin login details in the private content.

    Thanks!
    Tom

    Hello,

Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site, and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and let me know so I can check and give you a possible solution.

    Hi Aizaz,
Thanks as always for your prompt reply.
I have disabled all plugins except for WooCommerce, Woodmart Core and WPBakery Page builder – the issue still persists. Please check the staging site again, I have provided an updated admin login URL in the private content as I have disabled the plugin that hides the default admin login URL.

    Best regards,
    Tom

Hi Aizaz, can you please advise what you did to resolve the issue so that we may replicate it on our live site?

    #662870

    Hello,

I have edited the brand element and changed the number of brands to display in the element from 999 to 64, and it is showing fine.

Indeed this has resolved the issue! I would never have guessed that this would be the solution. Why would the number 999 cause the brands not to show?

    #663210

    Hello,

Even though only 64 specific brands were selected, the brand element was originally set to display 999 brands, which likely caused a conflict.

The issue happens because the element tries to render up to 999 items, even if fewer are selected. This can cause performance issues or break the slider script, especially if the system is expecting a lower number or if some of the selected brands don’t have proper data.

By changing the number to match the actual amount selected (64), the slider processes only the necessary items, which ensures proper rendering and functionality.

Thank you for the explanation, Aizaz.
I set the number to 80 brands to accomodate future additions and it seems to be working fine.

    Best regards,
    Tom
