I am currently using the WoodMart theme for my website and have enabled the “Cookie Law Info” popup under Theme Settings > General. However, I would like to clarify something regarding its compliance functionality.
Does the built-in cookie popup in WoodMart actually block tracking scripts (e.g., Google Analytics 4) until the user explicitly gives consent? Or is it purely informational and does not technically prevent scripts from running?
In other words, does the theme provide a GDPR-compliant cookie consent mechanism with script-blocking capabilities, or would I need to integrate a separate consent management platform (CMP) like Complianz or Cookiebot?
I’d appreciate your confirmation, as this is important for ensuring full compliance with EU privacy regulations.
