Instable carousel of product category / Home page

Hi there,
we had a talk about this, couple of days ago (ref #77746).
This morning, wanted to change the order of category on the bottom -> leads to collapse (slider vanishing).
Tried to change the order (from descending to ascending) -> same result.

What is frightening is that the “undo” from wpbakery does not work to restore as before. I need to close the page without recording.

All plugins are desactivated.

In order to sort the categories, you need to set “order by” http://prntscr.com/kwjju4

This is category carousel under the slider on the home page. If you mean another category carousel, let me know the page URL and screen.

I just tried, and same result: the slider vanishes when I click on “save”
Then, to maintain it as it is, I close the window

I do not understand the problem. I change the category carousel, save, then save the page and I see changes in the front-end.

What I do, step by step

– Go to
https://polinacouture.com/

Click on “edit with WPBakery Page builder” on top (1st horizontal black bar).

Below title slider, below “SAVOIR FAIRE”, click on the pen, in green rectangle, with “product categories” written on left

Then, in the opened menu, if I change order by “title” by “ID” as you wrote, and then click on “save changes”, then the carousel is disappearing.
If I change the display option from “carousel” to “masonry”, the change is made. If I rechange then to “carousel”, the section and the carousel are disappearing.

What I am trying to do, sorry, is to change the order of the categories. I mean the order in which they appear on the carousel, on both pages of the carousel

I understand your purpose. By default, the categories are ordered alphabetically in descending or in ascending way. When you set “order by” http://prntscr.com/kwjju4 you will see the changes.

I have checked twice it is working.

I was afraid when seeing the carousel disappearing. But yes, indeed, if I save the change, after having vanished, the carousel came back, as needed.
