    Hello,

I am currently using the product filters element and I can see that I can add to filter attributes and filter categories. I would like to ask if it is possible to add a specific category, and then search on this category for the attribute I set.

For example, I want to search only on Category1 (and not in all categories) the attribute with the name Location. So that it could filter results from a specific location on Category1 and not from all the categories.

    Thank you

    Hello,

Go to Appearance > Widgets > add the WOODMART WooCommerce Layered Nav and (For example filter by attribute) into the shop page widget area and select the specific category where you want to show this.

And then revise the steps again for other attributes and show them in others category https://postimg.cc/MnywCrPV

    Best Regards.

Excuse me for not clarifying this a bit better. The place that I want to use it is on the home page and not the shop page. I am aware of the functionality that you described.

I want to create search fields on my home page, just like the travel or motorcycle demos of the theme.

Here is an image on the back end. https://snipboard.io/kFJEV1.jpg

On the element “filter categories” I can not find a field where I can exclude or include categories from the search.

That’s what I try to do.

    Best Regards

I have made a test HTML block for you to see. I have added the “Filter Categories” but I want to only display one specific category for the user to choose the attributes and not from all.

I hope this makes sense somehow. Let me know if you need anything else.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

Sorry to say there is no option in this widget to include or exclude the product categories. It requires Customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy scope. Hope you can understand our limitations.

    Best Regards.

Yes, it is understandable what you say about the support scope.

It would be good as a feature thought. So if could give this as a suggestion to the development team I would appreciate it.

Thank you for your help on this matter.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

You can post your suggestions/requests related to Theme on the following Feature Request thread:
    https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/features-requests-2/

So, if the Development Department finds it fits with the Theme environment then surely they will look through it.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Have a great day.
