Issues with Single Product Page – Quantity Update, Default Qty, and Additional

Hello Xtemos Support Team,

I’m facing several technical issues with the WoodMart theme on my single product page template.

Quantity change doesn’t update price total: When I change the quantity (e.g., from 1 to 6), the total price doesn’t increment/add up. It should update dynamically.

Set default quantity to 6: How can I set the default quantity input to 6 pieces per product? I can’t find the option in theme settings or Elementor widget.

Additional Content Block not showing on frontend: In Product Metabox → Layout → “Additional Content Block”, I select my custom HTML block, but it doesn’t appear on the frontend (below reviews).

Hello,

By default, WooCommerce does not update the total price automatically when you change the quantity on the product page. The price updates only after you add the product to the cart.

If you want live/dynamic price updates, you will need custom code or a plugin to enable that feature.

Maybe you are using a custom layout for a single product page, Navigate to Layouts > Edit Single product layout and add the product extra content block widget to show this. https://postimg.cc/NLQHSNbp

Thank you for the quick response and the layouts documentation link — the Additional Content Block is now working perfectly!

However, you didn’t address my second point: **how to set the default quantity to 6 pieces** on the product page (quantity input field)? Is there a setting in Theme Settings, Elementor widget, or custom code?

Hello,

By default, WooCommerce (and WoodMart) does not include a built-in option to set a default quantity for products. The quantity input always starts at 1.

You need to find a third-party plugin to achieve more functionality that best suits you.
