adriana-6299ParticipantHi. In the woocommerce pages the category squares a little far away from each other, is there any way to make it bigger so it fills the whole page? I was able to do it with on an elementor page. I wanted them to look the same. See attached images. Thank you.

Can you please share the category page URL where the categories are added? Also, share the WP login details so I can check on your site and give you a possible solution.
Best Regards

adriana-6299ParticipantYes any woocommerce categories. Thank you.
June 20, 2026 at 8:49 am #722055Hello,
You are using the Product Categories widget in your custom Product Archive Layout. Navigate to Layouts > Edit product archive layout and edit the widget settings, and check the following options:
In the Layout settings, reduce the Space Between value to decrease the gap between category items.
https://postimg.cc/qN6zSbyWAlso, go to the Carousel Settings and slide per view to 4 (similar to your example). This will make the category blocks larger and help them fill more of the available width.

Best Regards

adriana-6299ParticipantI’m not sure that’s the right place, the categories I’m having problems with are not carousel. They’re the categories inside those in the carousel. I’m sending some examples.
June 23, 2026 at 9:33 am #722232Hello,
I checked your site and found that the categories shown on the page are not coming from the Product Categories widget inside your custom layout.
On the category pages, you are currently using the default WooCommerce category display option. You can check it under Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog > Category Display. It is currently set to display Subcategories, which is why WooCommerce is showing the default category grid layout.
https://postimg.cc/68yh9HDYIf you want full control over the category appearance and spacing with Elementor, please change Category Display to Products Only, then edit your “Product Archive Layout Categories” layout and add the Product Categories widget there. This will allow you to customize the category grid and make it match the design used on your other pages.
Best Regards

adriana-6299Participantim not sure how to do this….when i click on the show products it shows the products and not categories lol
July 8, 2026 at 12:32 pm #723251Hello,
The Products Only option is required because it prevents WooCommerce from outputting its default subcategory grid. This allows the categories to be displayed through the Product Categories widget in your custom Product Archive Layout, where you have full control over the spacing and appearance.
After changing Category Display to Products Only, navigate to WoodMart > Layouts, edit your “Product Archive Layout Categories” layout, and add the Product Categories widget to the desired position. You can then adjust the number of columns, spacing, and other settings to achieve the layout you are looking for.

adriana-6299ParticipantI’ll try that. I did notice that when i change to any other category style the spaces disappear just how I want (screenshots), but unfortunately, the text doesn’t work with the rest of the layout

The global Theme Settings for the category design are not applied when a category design is selected directly in the widget.
Please edit the layout with Elementor, then edit the Product Categories widget, and in the style tab, change the Category Design option there and check how it works.
