    Hi,

    I have a mega menu for the product categories on my eCommerce site https://portons-bebe.fr.
    The HTML blocks of the popups are currently loaded up front slowing down the site.

    If I understand correctly, the option “Load HTML dropdown with AJAX” inside the menu designer would lazy-load the content, but if I activate it the popup stays blank.

    So how to lazy-load/defer loading of these popups?

    Thank you for the awesome theme and the awesome support, by the way!

    Hello,

    Load HTML dropdown with AJAX – uploads the drop-down menu block only on hover.

    I am testing on my site, I have enabled the option and it works correctly. Please describe the issue in more detail and provide the site admin access into the private area.

    Best Regards

    Hi Elise,

    I attached an image to explain what happens (or doesn’t happen) when I toggle the option to load popups via AJAX.

    What I have tried so far is deactivating suspicious plugins (Asset CleanUp, LiteSpeed Cache, WebP Converter) without much success.

    Haven’t found any errors in the browser console, either.

    Thanks for helping me out 🙂

    Hello,

    I am checking your menu now and I see you have disabled the Load HTML dropdown with AJAX

    Please enable the option and disable all the plugins not created to the theme and check how it works. I am checking on my site and it works properly.

    If you still have the problem, leave the Load HTML dropdown with AJAX-enabled and confirm the permit deactivate the plugins for checking.

    Best Regards

    Hello Elise,

    So I temporarily activated maintenance mode, disabled all plugins besides Woodmart and Elementor and switched a menu to “Load with AJAX”. Still didn’t work.

    No browser addons were used (private mode). Tested with Firefox and Chrome.
    In the network analysis tab (F12) there seems to be no query when I hover over the menu entry. Is there some configuration that I’m missing maybe?

    The HTML of the popup stays void of content:

    <div class="wd-dropdown-menu wd-dropdown wd-design-sized color-scheme-dark">
      <div class="container">
        <style></style>
        <div
          data-elementor-type="wp-post"
          data-elementor-id="10349"
          class="elementor elementor-10349"
          data-elementor-settings="[]"
        >
          <div class="elementor-section-wrap">
            <section
              class="
                elementor-section
                elementor-top-section
                elementor-element
                elementor-element-2331cb4
                elementor-section-boxed
                elementor-section-height-default
                elementor-section-height-default
                wd-section-disabled
              "
              data-id="2331cb4"
              data-element_type="section"
            >
              <div class="elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default">
                <div
                  class="
                    elementor-column
                    elementor-col-100
                    elementor-top-column
                    elementor-element
                    elementor-element-73bdbf9
                  "
                  data-id="73bdbf9"
                  data-element_type="column"
                >
                  <div
                    class="elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated"
                  ></div>
                </div>
              </div>
            </section>
          </div>
        </div>
      </div>
    </div>

    The menu’s HTML blocks are created with Elementor, as is the rest of the site, if that changes anything.

    For testing purposes I will set the menu entry “Tonga” on Load with AJAX. You are free to deactive plugins yourself, but please active the maintenance mode inside the Woodmart theme beforehand and reactive it afterwards.

    The credentials given are correct. I am able to log in with them.
    If you’re still unable to connect, you may have been IP blocked by my hoster for whatever reason. Please go to https://portons-bebe.fr and see if there is a message saying you’ve been blocked. From there, you can deactivate the block via reCaptcha.

    Please note that, if you want to download the whole www folder via FTP, my hoster will block you as well.
