Linked Variation products’ page takes really long to load (30+ seconds)

Hello,

I am using Linked Variations and although the site’s speed is generally decent (without using any caching plugins yet), the linked products’ pages take a really long time to load (about 30 seconds).

The linked products are connected via an attribute called “Type” which currently has about 2300 terms! Could that be the reason for the slowdown? (It was inevitable to end up with all these terms because of the linked variations)

Any possible solutions?

Please, disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us with your admin and FTP access. We will log in and check what is wrong there. You can leave only the following plugins that are required for our theme:
WoodMart core
WooCommerce
Elementor/WPBakery page builder
Note that the account you sent doesn’t have administrator’s rights so we can’t check anything.

We’ve disabled all plugins as requested, except for WPML which is compatible with WoodMart and necessary for our site to work.

Thank you for the prompt response and action! The problem seems gone even after reactivating all the plugins.

Can you tell us what it was and how to fix it?

We’ll need to know because we’ll have to restore a backup (due to deleting some plugins etc.), and because we’ll need to implement it on other sites that we are currently building & will be building.

You can fix it by applying patch # 465960. To do this, go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Patcher, find the corresponding patch and click on the “Apply” button. Let us know if it works for you.

Thank you very much for the support, we’ve applied the patch and it works fine.

P.S.: May I suggest, as a feature to consider, a dropdown selection at the product’s page for the attribute(s) used in linked variations would be nice. We’ve achieved this in our site via CSS, but an out-of-the-box feature would be the better way.
