t.simkinaParticipantHello Xtemos team,
I have some problems with loading components and loading speed, I hope you can assist!I refer to your tutorial: https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/. By the way, it is outdated, maybe you could update it?
On your advice, I am using WP Rocket and CDN with recommended settings (or how I interpreted them from the outdated version on screenshots).
I have also worked through the whole guide and implemented all possible pieces of advice like keeping images around 150 kb, using an image optimization plugin and so on.
It still looks bad. The product page score for mobile is about 42-45. Please see the URL I am testing in private content. I don’t understand why the result is so bad.
The most problematic are these two errors:
The mobile menu is not available for a couple of seconds.
The swiper in the product gallery doesn’t work well, it goes back after scrolling.I attach a demo video and provide my settings in the further post.
Here is the information about settings:
I am using Theme settings – Performance – Plugins – WP Rocket delay JS exclusions setting (is on).
I have attached the WP Rocket settings.I really hope this can be solved, thank you very much in advance.

t.simkinaParticipantI could not upload json, so again settings.
I would be glad if you could help with both problems as soon as possible.February 26, 2024 at 3:24 am #543646
t.simkinaParticipantTxt also not possible.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
For the proper testing of the performance issues, I need admin access to the website and permission for plugins deactivation, and switch to the parent/default theme. You would better make the full backup of your site.
Kind Regards

t.simkinaParticipantHello Luke,
could you please do me a favour and check first on your side the following issue:
The option Theme settings – Performance – Plugins – WP Rocket delay JS exclusions setting should automatically populate delay_js_exclusions. Could you please check if the list is up to date? As far as I see, the menu and swiper are loading delayed (which is wrong), so they might not be on the exclusion list. If I deactivate delayed loading, the problem with menu is solved, but the performance score is completely down. Maybe you can ask the responsive developer about the exclusion list? the list from https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/ works with the old theme version. Can you ask the responsive colleagues to update this tutorial?February 28, 2024 at 10:25 am #544550
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Sorry for the delay.
I think there is the same issue with the 3rd party plugins as in this topic: https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/loading-speed-problems-and-laoding-components-problems/#post-544061
I suggest you recheck it on the live site as I did on the staging and let me know whether it helps you or not.
Kind Regards

t.simkinaParticipantHello Luke, what do you mean? the link is to this post itself…
February 28, 2024 at 9:49 pm #544829
t.simkinaParticipantYou have also completely ignored my question about the exception list. I didn’t write this for myself, it was a question for you. Have you asked?
February 28, 2024 at 10:03 pm #544830
t.simkinaParticipantWhat about this flipping back of the gallery? could you reproduce it?
I’m afraid deactivating plugins is not a solution for me. There is not a single plugin I can delete. I can not have a shop without woocommerce or payment plugins or security plugins. It is not a purpose for the theme to function perfectly without any plugins – it doesn’t have any use without them…February 28, 2024 at 10:10 pm #544832
t.simkinaParticipantWhat is about the question with update? Can the tutorial https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/ be updated? Maybe you would like me to underline questions for easier answering?

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Sorry, for the misunderstanding. After looked into the situation, we found a bit heavy video on the product page (https://take.ms/ZQ7c8) so after removing it, the page started to load well, please check this video: https://take.ms/MGAIx
Kind Regards

t.simkinaParticipantHello Luke,
the video is not visible and lazy loading, it should be not relevant for all recorded videos showing the problem. As you still keep ignoring my questions and because of the quality of suggestions, I would prefer to duplicate the ticket so that your colleagues can take it.March 4, 2024 at 5:09 pm #546097
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Sorry for the inconvenience.
I do hope you would remain as our valued customer and thank you for your time.
Kind Regards
