MiniCart Widget Issue

    Hi There,

    When a user removing a product from the Mini Cart Widget, it closes automatically. That is very much irritating for an user open the Mini Cart again see the products again.

    Website also scrolling in the backend. I believe there is something that you can help.

    Go to Theme Settings > Shop > disable the option Hide widget automatically.

    Hello,

    Please select the Action after add to cart “Display Widget” and you will see a Hide widget automatically option.

    Hi Aizaz,

    Thank you for letting me know. However, the Payment gateways what was underneath the checkout button are not visible anymore. Mini widget auto-update is removing the express payment gateways.

    Could you mind to check it please?

    The payments gateway buttons are working well with the auto updates in the Cart/Checkout Page. However, When there is an auto update/change in the Mini Cart widget, the express payment buttons are no longer visible.

    Hello,

    Try to do the following to update the theme:
    1. Go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Theme License and deactivate the theme.
    2. Go to Dashboard -> Updates and click on Check Again.
    3. Activate the theme with your purchase code again.
    4. Try to update the theme via Appearance -> Themes or via Dashboard -> Updates.

    If it does not help, make the full backup of your site and update via FTP https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/update-theme-2/

    If you need help, then provide permission and give ftp details, I will update the theme on your site.

    Hi Aizaz,

    I will screen record the Mini Cart widget UX issues and let you know. When a customer updates the mini cart quantity or deleting a product, Payment gateways are not visible unless it is hard refreshed.

    Hello,

    Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

    Otherwise, if the issue still exists then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and let me know I will check and give you a possible solution.

    Hi Aizaz,

    The Amazon Pay and Woocommerce Paypal Payments are Woocommerce Official Payment gateways. By deactivating such core WooCommerce payment plugins means we will be removing express checkout option completely from the MiniCart and Checkout page which is not recommended.

    I hope you may look into carefully and suggest us a viable solution.

    Aizaz,

    I have tried to upload the file and got the following error.

    Upload Errors:
    mini-cart-payment-gateways-issue.mp4: File exceeds allowed file size.

    In Woocommerce Storefront theme auto updating cart is smoother, having no impact on Payment gateways. There maybe a small bug or delay in execution of script that I am not sure of. As you have more technical knowledge than I’ve. Maybe you could troubleshoot why such things are happening.

    I will upload the file by optimising the video and let you see.
