I had an issue yesterday with my site where the theme was trying to fine a missing language file on a continuous loop which caused a massive load on the server and for the site to slow down to the point it was unusable for everyone.
Once i added the file to the correct location it all worked fine.
17:16:21 access(“/home/xxxxxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/woodmart/languages/en_GB.mo”, R_OK) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
Not sure if this was a plugin looking for this but our site is only in English, no lanuage options are used at all.
