Mixed Content: The page loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure font.

Our site runs a bit slow and on the back end of a single product, We get over 100+ http errors relating to an insecure font being called on the secure server. This slows down the site majorly and we need help getting this solved quickly.

Error in chrome console:

“Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://victorytrend.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=7843&action=edit’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure font ‘http://fonts.gstatic.com/s/opensans/v15/memnYaGs126MiZpBA-UFUKWyV-hs.ttf’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.”

We tried to log in to your admin panel but the password seems to be wrong. Please, check your credentials. Also, upload your screenshot smaller than 512KB so we can check it.

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress theme like twentysixteen to understand is it our theme issue or not?

We have found that the problem is coming from WP Bakery Page Builder. Once we disable it, The errors stop and the site increases in speed dramatically.

We are more curious if there is possibly an update that would resolve Visual Composer / WP Bakery and it’s 140+ insecure font requests.

We also have our own license for visual composer which means if your theme doesn’t include a modified version then we can try a manual update from our end. Thanks in advanced, Let me know.

If you have a license for this plugin, try to contact its developers for help if it happens only if the plugin is active. Write us about the result, please.
