    Hi,
I spent a lot of time by looking for the solution of this issue: translate for mobile header the titles of the two menu.
All the WPML solution failed. They being to work by adding a dirty code job from WPML. But is really dirty and it stops working by updating the theme (so I need any time to replace the code).
this ‘dirty way’ comes directly from WPML: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translating-secondary-button-mobile-menu/ and it is quick and easy by adding a ‘woodmart’ suffix in a theme file. I use it both for primary and secondar menu. Then I found Xtemos solution here: https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/can-you-make-secondary-button-mobile-menu-translatable-with-wpml/ but reading the post I really didn’t understand how to do with Loco Translation. The guy seems to be very happy for the solution but some part of the process are missing. Could you help me with this?

    Many thanks

    PS
just to be more clear I send you 2 screenshots of the Mobile menu and the script I set.

    Hello,

Just install the Loco Translate plugin, in Loco Translate -> Themes -> Woodmart create a translation and the path for the translation set as wp-content/languages/themes/.

Additional info on how to use Loco is here: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/translate-woodmart-theme-with-loco-translate/

    Kind Regards

    Hi,
    Thanks for fast reply.
Not totally clear about how to translate those titles in details.
In the link you sent with documentation I can read:
Note: Sync operations must be done manually whenever you update your theme. The purpose of this function is to fetch the translatable source strings that are currently available and update the file accordingly.
So, my propose was to avoid to make again the job after update the site. It seems also with this method I have to do it. And I should have one more plugin, isn’t it?
Just to know, the way of the code, that seems working fine, has some collateral effects?

    Thanks for patience.
    Besst regrads.

    Hello,

“Note: Sync operations must be done manually whenever you update your theme. The purpose of this function is to fetch the translatable source strings that are currently available and update the file accordingly.” – This means that you need to sync. again if in the new update new strings are added (e.g. new functionality with new strings). The previous translation will be saved.

If you would like to discuss the issue further, our customer support team is here for you.

    Kind Regards
