No category selection possible in the Products Grid

    Hello, I am trying to get into the theme and create Products Grid on the home page. However, now I want the grid to display different products from certain categories.

    In the field “Categories or tags” I enter the name of the category, but only “No Results found” appears. The spelling is correct and I don’t see any other error.

    Addendum, in the Ajax tab this does not work either

    Is there a solution for this? (to be clear, I can’t give out a login for the beta site)

    Please deactivate all the plugins except these ones:

    Slider Revolution
    WPBakery Page Builder or Elementor
    Woodmart Core
    Contact Form 7
    MailChimp for WordPress
    WooCommerce
    Safe SVG

    If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.

    In case, the problem remains, even after all the plugins are deactivated, provide your site admin access (insert the site credentials into the Private content block under the message area) and confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, switching to the parent or default theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable all back, however, the site would be without plugins for 15-20 min. You would better make the full backup of your site.

    After all, I wrote that I can not let you into the system (Europe and privacy is not fun, unfortunately).

    It’s not because of the plugins (I already tried that). That must be a bug in the block itself. When I create a product widget, it works. Also if I set in the prodcut grid, it should only show ID’s, it works. This shows that the block is not accessing the category list.

    One more update, I just tried it with WPBakery Page Builder, it works without any problems. Only the WPBakery is a plugin that I do not want to use in any case.

    Hello,

    It means that you installed the theme based on WP bakery page builder and then switched to Elementor.

    WoodMart works with either the WP Bakery builder or the Elementor builder at once, but not with both at the same time. In the process of installing the plugin, please install one builder plugin you are going to use. It is not possible to convert an existing site that is built on the WP Bakery Page Builder into Elementor. Page builder plugins are provided in Appearance -> Install plugins.

    No it doesn’t mean that, I installed the theme first with Elementor, then rebuilt my test site and installed with Backery to test it with a new database. (The site is installed on a server that is next to me). Now the site is reinstalled again with Elementor and a new database. So only one builder runs at a time and there are no plugin fragments in the database.

    The error is still there.

    Okay, I have now installed it on a web server, data is below. Note: it’s a BETA system, so you can do anything there, if you find the bug, it would be nice if you describe me what the problem was, so I can transfer it to the main system later.

    And of course many thanks, I must say, despite the small problems, the purchase of the theme was definitely worth it, a really good support (I rate you when the theme runs in the live system)

    As soon as you change the categories slugs to Latin letters it would work correctly.
