Hello Xtemos Support Team,
We are building a B2B platform using the WoodMart theme (starting from the “Tools” demo). To ensure a smooth launch and manage our database properly, we are splitting the project into two phases. I would love your expert advice on the best practices to configure the theme for this roadmap:
Phase 1: “Visit Site” (Presentation & Brand Authority)
We are launching the Homepage, About Us, Contact, and main Category landing pages first. We will feature our 30-year company history and focus on lead generation, but there will be NO products imported yet.
Question 1: What is the best way to optimize Woodmart for Phase 1? Can we (or should we) disable WooCommerce scripts/styles globally to maximize page speed since it’s just a presentation site for now?
Phase 2: “Visit Store” (B2B Catalogue Mode)
We will import 1,000 – 3,000 products. However, as a B2B business, we will operate strictly in Catalogue Mode (no prices visible, no add to cart, just “Request a Quote” / Lead gen).
Question 2: For this scale, do you recommend using Woodmart’s native “Catalog mode” (in Theme Settings), or is it better to use a dedicated third-party B2B/Catalog plugin to handle the “Request a quote” forms for individual products?
Question 3: Are there any specific pitfalls or layout shifts we should be aware of when transitioning from Phase 1 to Phase 2?
Thank you for your guidance!
