Out of Stock – Variations – Archive pages x Single page

Variations: With WooCommmerce’s default configuration, out-of-stock variations work with an X inside the product and not in the files (store and category)

You can try on your demo. I setup a demo to try and the error haṕpens too. The variations needs to respect out of stock on all archive grids.

I think this problem happen a long time, because i have clients with Woodmart what needs to use a separated plugin just to show the variations on archive pages, like the theme do, but dont respect the products out of stock.

Is a fix what make site desable one or two plugins.

I conducted a test on my end, and variation won’t show in Products page https://prnt.sc/lJnlrz0C_RT3 https://prnt.sc/7Q5S6of-B7xn and it crossed out in Single Product page https://prnt.sc/k3LTxzQhlnta

You should deactivate all plugins (except Required Plugins) and then reactivate them one by one. This makes it very easy to isolate the plugin causing problems.

We want on products page works the same on single page, showing the variation without stock but unclicable. In your words, crossed out.

Why? Is a way to the visitor see this product have in his size but without stock. The visitor will click on product and go to waitlist. I know you will think is not smart, but all shoppers wants. We think like a dev, the visitor not.

I kindly request you to conduct a check by activating the default WordPress Theme, such as Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Three (Appearance > Themes) and keep WoodMart Core and Elementor or WPBakery plugins activated. This is to ascertain whether the issue you are experiencing is due to our theme or not.
