Performance issue on woocommerce categories

Hi,

I’ve noticed major delay on woocommerce pages occur.
When I go to shop or non empty categories first request is stuck on ‘Waiting for server response’ for 5-20 seconds.
Then whole page downloads and is ready in 44ms (feels instant).

Could you help me discover the source of this issue?

To better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.

I’ve created staging environment for this purpose. On default theme (Twenty Twenty-Four) all categories in shop loads in below 2s. I haven’t noticed behaviour described in topic on default theme – on woodmart it behaves the same.

I provided connection details to staging env in extra info.

As we can see, you don’t have a WoodMart theme activated now. And your website is cached, so it is not possible to check the real server response time.

I turned on WoodMart theme. Can I do anything else to help with investigation?

Looks better, delay happened once

I found out connections from other countries was locked by my hosting provider. I unlocked it, please try again.

You can fix it by applying patch # 555268. To do this, go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Patcher, find the corresponding patch and click on the “Apply” button. Let us know if it works for you.
