    Hello Luke,

There seems a glitch in Pop-Up Button (with Form) on Elementor.
I am facing this issue while using Elementor on Real Mobile device only. With WPBakery on mobile device there is No such issue. On Desktops there is No such issue wither either Page Builder.

How to replicate (in Real Mobile device) –
    1. First of all, please visit any Single product page, or this one – https://bit.ly/3XWv6uv
    2. Then click on Have Query Ask Us button. This will open a pop-up and will have a Contact Form inside it.
    3. Now, when you click only on the Fields (with dropdown options), that is, Subject, Country. Then after choosing the desired option you will find that the current page will move upwards leaving the Form at bottom or downwards.
We have to manually swipe or slide up the screen again to get back to the form.

PS: This is not happening when we have created the same form and having same Plugin sets on WPBakery Page Builder.
If require, you can test the behavior on staging3.vasangini.com (with WPBakery)

    4. With other text fields also, the Pop-Up form first moves down and then moves up instantly. Or alternatively, we can say, the window or page moves Up leaving the form at bottom, and then the form automatically slides up back to the position again. But, in-between of this, there is a slight delay.

PS 2: This is happening with Pop-Up Button form only. If we use the form with same fields (Dropdown option) on any other static page (without Pop Up Button), then it works correctly.
You can test on the Contact Us page – https://bit.ly/3uin5Ta

It looks like there is some sort of glitch or something wrong with the Pop-Up button along with the Elementor. Or Pop-Up form with Elementor only. As this is not the case with Pop-Up button with WPBakery (staging3 site)

Please resolve and suggest how to fix this

    Regards

    Hello,

The thing is that these fields from the form are related to the plugin so our theme doesn’t influent it. You can be sure of that by checking the below video, there you can see that the content moves when you click on the fields from the plugin. Also, you can check this issue with the default form from Elementor to make sure it’s a plugin problem.

    Hello Luke,

Thank you for your response. Yes, I can see that on Staging site with Elementor.

But the point is that, if you check the same on staging3 site that is prepared with WPBakery, there is No such behavior.
Means, the content or page (behind the form), is also not moving while we click on the Form Fields, even on Desktop. You can check on the staging3 site here (with WPB)-
    https://www.staging3.vasangini.com/product/hand-painted-indian-elephant-tapestry-queen-bedspread/

The problem is only appearing on Mobile (mainly, and when using Elementor page builder)
If you remember, Elementor requires to create 2 HTML blocks in order to create just one PopUp Button with form inside it (and we had discussed that earlier, in one of the past Ticket). However, with WPBakery, the PopUp Button (with form), can be created using just One HTML Block.

So, I am assuming, this could be the reason for it to shift the Page or content behind it or Probably the form itself might be shifting itself, or making it to shift.

PS: Most importantly, as per your video, even if the content of page (behind the form) is moving, in the Desktop. But side-by-side, form is still retaining the same position, hence making it visible always.
While that is not the case in mobile. If the Pop-Up Form could have retained the position in mobile also, then there would not have been such issue.

Hence, I would like to request you to please check it again, as why there is problem on mobiles (mainly) and only with Elementor. Whlle with WPBakery, there is no such issue. Neither in Desktop and nor on mobiles.

    Please suggest and resolve

    Hello,

I have contacted the development team and they confirmed that most likely the issue is related to the plugin which has these input fields because in the same Elementor’s structure the default form from Elmenetor works well (you can be sure of that by checking it on your side). So I suggest you contact the plugin’s support team for further solutions.

We appreciate your patience, understanding & cooperation in this regard.

    Kind Regards

    Hello Luke,

.. that most likely the issue is related to the plugin..

I checked further and found that the issue seems not related to that plugin.

In order to verify further, I created a New form using Contact Form 7 (one of the compatible and supported plugin).
And then add the shortcode of CF7 in that same PopUp button.
You can check on this page – https://bit.ly/3W6nUdH
Then after clicking the same PopUp button (Have Query Ask Us), the form opens (created using Contact form 7), and when you click on any field, the screen or page (behind) moves up again, in a similar passion on Desktop and mobiles (just like earlier, as it was with Fluentforms)

And in mobile, if we click on Radio button field on that same form, the page (behind) moves up leaving the form at bottom, in a same way.

Hence, as I mentioned earlier, this could be the issue due to the PopUp botton feature, that too only with Elementor. As Elementor requires to create 2 HTML blocks in order to prepare just one PopUp Button with form inside it.
PS: On any form (either fluent form or Contact form 7) without Pop-Up button, there is No such issue. Also, with WPBakery (even with PopUp), there is No such issue.
Probably because, with WPBakery, the PopUp Button (with form), can be created using just One HTML Block.

And as the Contact Form 7 is compatible plugin and supported by the theme, I expect that this shall be taken care of and shall be resolved.
Can you please check at your end again and help to resolve this issue.

    Hello,

You can’t insert shortcodes into the infobox, it’s not designed for that. For output, you need to use the “Contact form” element and then everything will work.

    Hello Luke,

Yes, it works for contact form 7. Thank you.
Hence, I tried the same way for Fluent forms as well, and even that worked like a Charm too.
Amazing to find, how easily it resolves this issue.

If you would have looked into it bit earlier, I think that would have resolved in the very beginning and would have avoid our back and forth communications.
That means, there is nothing wrong with the Fluent forms plugin as well as no glitch in the Elementor as well for such behaviour.

Thank you so much again for looking into it thoroughly. That really resolves both the issues at the same time.
