maico.troppinaParticipantHi Woodmart Support Team,
I am currently trying to configure a popup so that it appears only on products that belong to one specific category: Lawn Care.My goal is the following:
The popup should appear every time a single product page is opened for a product that belongs to the “Lawn Care” category.
The popup should NOT appear on products that belong to any other category.
The popup should also not appear anywhere else on the site.
At the moment, after many other attempts, I have under Popup → Advanced → Conditions, I have configured:Include → Post types → Products
Include → Taxonomy types → Product categories
Include → Single Post from → Lawn CareHowever, the popup does not appear when I open a single product page of a product that belongs to the “Lawn Care” category.
Could you please clarify:
Whether this is the correct way to target a single product category?
If I should instead use a different condition setup?
Or if Woodmart popups do not support targeting products by category in this way?Thank you in advance for your help.
February 14, 2026 at 2:44 pm #708598Hello,
Using Include > Term ID (Product category) will display the pop-up only on the category archive page, not on single product pages.
To show the pop-up on single product pages that belong to a specific category, you should use:
Include > Single post from > Term > select the product category.See Screenshot for better understanding: https://postimg.cc/QV6JgBpk
With this setup, the pop-up will correctly appear on all single products related to that category.
Also, check the following:
Make sure Persistent close is disabled while testing > Disable Trigger once > Clear cookies or test in an Incognito / Private window > Ensure the popup trigger (e.g. Page loaded) is enabled
For more details, follow this guide: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/popup-builder/

maico.troppinaParticipantHi Aizaz Imtiaz Awan,
Thanks for your reply.
I think I did that test before, but I tried again now based on your suggestion.
With that set up(Single post from Term) when I try to search any category (Lawn Care included) the search function cannot find it.
Please find attached image. Thanks for your support.

Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the WP admin login details of your site so I can check and give you a possible solution.

maico.troppinaParticipantHi,
I was able to identify the issue related to the third-party plugin that was preventing categories from loading correctly when using the Include → Single Post from Term condition.
After running some tests, I noticed the following behavior:
The popup appears correctly when I open the first product belonging to the selected category.
However, when I navigate to a second or third product within the same category, the popup does not display again.
In the popup settings, the only additional setting is trigger enabled:
Page Loaded set to trigger after 1000ms.
Could you please let me know what information or access you need from my side to help diagnose and resolve this issue?
Thank you for your assistance.
February 16, 2026 at 3:26 pm #708751Hello,
Thank you for the update.
If “Trigger once” is enabled on the Page Loaded trigger, the pop-up will only appear once per session or until the cookie expires. Make sure it is disabled.
Pop-ups use cookies to track display. Test the other products in Incognito / Private mode or clear cookies to ensure the pop-up can appear on multiple products of this current category.

maico.troppinaParticipantHi,
“Trigger once: was disabled and still not working, but I found that I had the setting Popup Settings-Persistent close in ON position, now I set it to OFF and tested in Incognito mode and it seems working properly.
Can you please confirm that could have been the issue and now it should be solved? Thanks.

maico.troppinaParticipantHi,
Could you please advise on the best way to configure the conditions to enable a popup for a specific group of products?
The products do not necessarily belong to the same category, as I would like to target a custom list of selected items only.
I would appreciate your recommendation on the most efficient and scalable approach.
Thank you in advance.
February 17, 2026 at 2:09 pm #708842Hello,
Yes, that was the issue. With Persistent Close turned off, the pop-up will now appear correctly on all products in the selected category.
In the pop-up conditions, use Include > Post ID and choose the product.
