eugene-3973ParticipantSuddenly, the filter shows all taxonomies instead of just portfolio categories. Can’t make sense of it…
Just updated to Woodmart 8.5.5, didn’t help

July 22, 2026 at 10:32 am #724139Hello,
I have checked your site, and it looks like the Portfolio page has not been configured correctly.
Please create an empty page first, then select it as the Portfolio page from the dropdown. This page will be used as the root page for your Portfolio archive.
You can configure it by navigating to:
Theme Settings > Portfolio > Choose the Portfolio pageYou can also refer to our documentation for more details:
https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/portfolio/After setting the Portfolio page, edit your custom “results” page with Elementor, add the portfolio widget and check the issue.
Best Regards

eugene-3973Participantdone, but it didn’t fix the issue
added empty portfolio page and set it in the settings
July 23, 2026 at 3:14 pm #724203Hello,
Please add a new Portfolio widget and go to the Style tab. Enable the Show Categories Filter option.
After enabling this option, the filter will display only the relevant Portfolio categories instead of all taxonomies.
Please remove the old widget and test with the newly added Portfolio widget.
Best Regards

eugene-3973ParticipantOh, I see. Apparently it worked even without creating portfolio page. So strange…
July 24, 2026 at 9:33 am #724249Hello,
The issue was related to the configuration of the old Portfolio widget on your site.
Adding a new Portfolio widget with the Show Categories Filter option enabled refreshes the widget settings, which is why it started displaying only the Portfolio categories correctly.
We’re glad to hear it’s working now. If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know.
Best Regards
