Portfolio
WoodMart includes a Portfolio post type for publishing projects, case studies, creative work, and other visual content. Each project has its own page, while the portfolio archive displays all projects in a configurable grid.
Set up the portfolio
- Navigate to Dashboard → Theme Settings → Portfolio and enable Portfolio. This activates the project post type and adds the Projects menu to the WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to Dashboard → Pages → Add New, create an empty page for the portfolio archive, and publish it. The page title will normally be used as the portfolio archive title.
- Return to Dashboard → Theme Settings → Portfolio and select the published page in Portfolio page.
- Navigate to Dashboard → Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes to register the portfolio archive URLs.

You can also change Portfolio project URL slug and Portfolio category URL slug in the same section. Save the permalinks again after changing either slug.
Add portfolio projects
- Navigate to Dashboard → Projects → Add Project.
- Add the project title and content, then set a featured image. The featured image is used as the project thumbnail in the standard portfolio archive.
- Assign one or more project categories when required. You can manage them separately under Dashboard → Projects → Categories.
- Publish the project.

Configure the portfolio archive
Navigate to Dashboard → Theme Settings → Portfolio → Portfolio archive to configure the standard project archive.
Layout and pagination
- Full width portfolio — extends the portfolio container to the full page width.
- Projects columns — sets the number of projects per row independently for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Space between projects — controls the grid spacing independently for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Items per page — sets how many projects are loaded on each archive page.
- Portfolio pagination — selects pagination links, a Load more button, or infinite scrolling.
- Portfolio order by and Portfolio order — control how projects are sorted.
Project appearance and filters
- Portfolio style — selects how the project image, title, and category are presented.
- Images size — selects a registered image size. Choose Custom to enter a specific width and height.
- Show categories filters — displays project categories above the portfolio grid.
- Categories filters — selects Links or Masonry filtering.
- AJAX portfolio — loads category archive results without a full page refresh when the Links filter mode is used.
The Links mode opens the corresponding project category archive. The Masonry mode filters only the projects already loaded on the current page.

Portfolio archive sidebar
Use Sidebar position and Sidebar size to configure the archive layout. The off-canvas sidebar controls let you hide the sidebar behind a button independently on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Configure single projects
Navigate to Dashboard → Theme Settings → Portfolio → Single project to configure the standard project page.
- Custom single project header — assigns a saved header to all single project pages. See Assign headers to pages and content types for other assignment methods.
- Project name in page title — displays the current project name instead of the portfolio archive page title.
- Sidebar position, Sidebar size, and the off-canvas controls — configure the project sidebar for each device.
- Projects navigation — displays links to the previous and next projects.
- Related projects — displays a carousel of related portfolio projects.

Customize portfolio layouts
For complete control over the page structure, navigate to Dashboard → Layouts and create a Portfolio archive or Single project layout. Assign conditions to determine where the custom layout is displayed.
