Predefined layouts (checkout) – payment problem

    Hello,

    When I enable the predefined checkout layout/checkout in Woodmart, I run into issues with payment methods:

    For credit card payments, no fields appear to enter card details. Error occurs on the top.

    When switching to PayPal, the payment process doesn’t proceed. Also an error occurs.

    If I disable the Woodmart checkout and use the default WooCommerce checkout, everything works correctly.

    Could you please help me fix this issue?

    Hi SZenko,

    Thanks for reaching to us and appreciate your patience.

    1. You can try custom layouts for a product page, which is built with the WoodMart WooCommerce builder. WoodMart has a special widget called Hook in Elementor that you can place to your custom layout and then the plugin will be able to add its custom content there. But I don’t know which one exactly it needs. You can either try to select all hooks one by one or contact plugin developers for help.

    Hi Hung,
    thanks for your reply.

    I might have misunderstood your answer 🙂 Just to clarify: I am not using Elementor (att.) or any custom product/checkout layouts.

    The issue happens only when I enable the Woodmart predefined checkout layout. (att)

    With the default WooCommerce checkout(disabled woodmart predefined) → payment methods (credit card, PayPal) work correctly. (but I would like to use Woodmart predefined)

    With the Woodmart checkout → no credit card fields are shown and PayPal doesn’t proceed. (att in previous post)

    I am using the official WooCommerce Braintree Payment Gateway plugin. Could you please advise if the predefined checkout needs any additional configuration, or if this is a compatibility issue?

    To assist you in the best possible manner, I kindly ask that you please provide me temporary wp-admin info (wp-admin URL, username, password) to the Private Content area, this will allow me to thoroughly investigate and address your concerns more efficiently.

    Hi Hung,

    attached in private.

    Currently the predefined checkout is disabled, and I’m using the default one in order to make orders possible.
    If you enable the predefined checkout for testing purposes, you will see the difference with the payment options. -entering payment details is not possible.

    Please make sure you enabled Paypal payment in Braintree account https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-powered-by-braintree/#my-credentials-are-correct-but-i-still-dont-see-paypal-at-checkout-whats-going-on

    Also, because you are using custom checkout layout however I don’t know which exactly hooks it needs. You can either try to select all hooks one by one or contact plugin developers for help.

    Hi Hung,

    Thanks again for your support. I wanted to update you on the issue.

    It turns out the problem was with the “PayPal Braintree for WooCommerce” plugin (https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-powered-by-braintree/
    ) – I was using Braintree as the processor.

    I switched to the “WooPayments” plugin (https://woocommerce.com/products/woopayments/
    ) – Stripe, and now everything works correctly with Woodmart custom layouts.

    Both plugins are official, developed by WooCommerce.

    Just wanted to let you know in case it helps in the future.
