    Message to Support:
    Hello WoodMart Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with the Categories Menu in the header on WoodMart theme version 8.3.6.

    Issue description:

I am trying to display the Product Categories dropdown in the header (like the “Browse Categories” menu).
    However:

The option “Show categories in header” is missing in the Theme Settings.

When I add the Categories / Product Categories element in the Header Builder, it only works if I select a WordPress menu.

If I leave the “Choose Menu” field empty (to display auto WooCommerce categories), the element disappears completely on the frontend.

There is no option to switch the element source to Product Categories (WooCommerce).

My WoodMart version is 8.3.6, using the default header layout.

    What I need:

I want the header to show automatic WooCommerce product categories, not a manual WordPress menu.

What I have tried so far:

Tested different header layouts (Default, Header with Categories).

Rebuilt the header in Header Builder.

    Disabled all plugins except WooCommerce.

Cleared Theme Cache and browser cache.

No changes — the Categories Menu still does not appear.

    Request:

Please confirm whether in WoodMart v8.3.6 the “Product Categories Menu” feature has been removed or changed.
And if so, how can I properly enable the WooCommerce product categories dropdown in the header?

Any guidance or fix will be highly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

In the Header Builder, the Product Categories element requires a menu to display on the frontend. If the “Choose Menu” field is left empty, the element will not appear.

Currently, WoodMart does not provide a built-in option to automatically pull all WooCommerce categories without assigning a WordPress menu.

Create a dynamic menu with all categories

Navigate to Appearance > Menus > Create a new menu > Add all WooCommerce product categories (you can select “Product Categories” on the left panel) > Assign this menu to the menu item element in Header Builder.

    Please check this manual: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/adding-menu-to-the-site/

    Best Regards,
