dwallaceParticipantHi again,
1. I have been having this problem for long time but didnt notice until now as am only beginning to work on the site again.
https://goo.gl/photos/yv22u4Sp2822nu3QA
You can see I click the first tag, and it loads ok. There are only 3 items.
Then I click another tag, and it reshows the current page, then watch the browser tab at the top, it will start loading the selected tags, at delay.
This happens with some categories as well sometimes.
It happens when selected next page on shop page.
Sometimes it will load old pages, even if the site cache has been cleared. The problem: Takes long time to load clicked page/category/tag/size etc sometimes, it shows the current page again, then starts loading in background the clicked page, but the clicked page when loads is sometimes not the up to date page, and is an old page.
Do you know what might be the problem?
Is it some ajax problem?2. Also, if I like some customisations to the theme, what rate can I expect to pay?
Many thanks

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
If AJAX reloads the page, then it means that response takes too much time to complete. This issue is caused by slow server performance. We suggest to check your server and website and see why it is loading so slow. Maybe try to disable all additional plugins. Otherwise, you can disable “AJAX shop” functionality in Theme Settings -> Shop.

Dmytro_uaParticipantHi! I’ve got the same problem with ajax preload. Every 2nd or 3rd page in catalog loads old version and then “jumps” to a new one in a few seconds.
I have two sites:
1. My private development site
2. My open online shop
Server settings are absolutely the same, the only difference is: my development site is http, and online shop is https.
Can it couse this problem with ajax preload?Right now I’ve had to disable “AJAX shop” in settings 🙁

Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
Could you please send us a link where we can see this AJAX problem live?

Dmytro_uaParticipantYes, I enabled it on my online site.
Please try 1-10 pages in this catalog. I have 2-3 “jumps” in 10 pages. Sometimes more or less, but it happens.
Please, reply asap, so I can disable this function. Thanks

Artem TemosKeymasterAs we can see, the same problem occurs on your website. The server response is longer than 5 seconds (5 seconds max time for AJAX response). And if a script doesn’t receive any response in 5s it reloads the page. https://gyazo.com/513c0c589bf725a33991b2f0bb65f444

Dmytro_uaParticipant1. I don’t really understand how the responce can be so slow. Pingdom loads this page for 2.5 secs (my images and some other stuff need more optimisation). But it is not even close to 5 seconds..
2. Please check private section. I opened access to my dev site, it works on the same host with mirrored settings (exactly the same). There’s no problem with ajax page preload :/Thanks

Dmytro_uaParticipantHere’s a pingdom screenshot of this page.

Artem TemosKeymasterWe sent you a screenshot with your AJAX response time in the previous message and it indicates 5 seconds of loading.
Could you please turn on debug mode to see maybe some errors occur on the site?July 29, 2017 at 4:08 pm #16962
Dmytro_uaParticipantI didn’t have a chance to turn on wp debug mode yet, but had a quick look into Google Chrome Console – at that moment it shows error with “theme.min.js”.

Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
Yes, this errors says that there is a problem in server response time timeout. But it would be better to check for PHP errors too.
