antoniosvanParticipantAfter the upgrade, I am facing the following issue: the header banner is not displayed, even though it is enabled. Additionally, in the login/register section, only the “register” option appears, and customers cannot log in.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Please disable any plugins not directly related to our theme and provide us with your admin access details. We will log in to your dashboard and investigate the issue. Please ensure that you only keep the following plugins that are necessary for our theme to work correctly:
– WoodMart core
– WooCommerce
– Elementor/WPBakery Page BuilderThank you in advance.

antoniosvanParticipantHello
I resolved the issue with the login form by disabling it through WP Rocket optimize CSS delivery, but the problem with the header banner still persists.November 29, 2024 at 5:41 pm #617772
Artem TemosKeymasterPlease keep all plugins that are not related to our theme temporarily turned off and switch to the parent theme in Appearance -> Themes.
November 29, 2024 at 5:48 pm #617778
antoniosvanParticipantWhen I activate the parent theme, the header banner is displayed correctly. Should I leave it activated?

Artem TemosKeymasterIt looks like you have outdated files in the child theme. You need to get files from the latest version of the theme and reapply your changes.

antoniosvanParticipantYesterday, I received a notification to update the child theme, which I did. What else do I need to do now?
November 29, 2024 at 7:02 pm #617821
Artem TemosKeymasterSorry, could you please clarify what notification did you get? And how exactly you update the child theme?
November 29, 2024 at 10:50 pm #617876
antoniosvanParticipantAs soon as I updated the theme, I received a notification in the theme settings stating that the core needs an update and to “click here.” I clicked, and it directed me to the screen shown in the attached image, where I performed the update.

Artem TemosKeymasterSo you updated the WoodMart core plugin, it is correct. You didn’t make any updates in the child theme.
November 29, 2024 at 11:05 pm #617880
antoniosvanParticipantYes, how can I update the child theme?
November 29, 2024 at 11:08 pm #617882
Artem TemosKeymasterIt depends on what exactly you customized in the child theme. Most likely, you copied our header.php file from the parent theme. So now you need to copy it again from the latest version of the theme. And then reapply all your customizations. You need to do this for all the files you copied from the parent theme to the child.
November 29, 2024 at 11:12 pm #617883
antoniosvanParticipantI haven’t made any changes, only updated the template. I also haven’t copied anything to the child theme.
November 29, 2024 at 11:38 pm #617887
Artem TemosKeymasterIf you didn’t make any changes in the child theme, then you can restore its original files downloaded from here https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/setup-child-theme/
Or just leave the parent theme active. -
