Problem with lazy loading for archive products

Hi there,

I’m encountering some products with the loading of specific elements.

For as well the products grid on my homepage, as the archive products widget on my product archive pages, the products don’t load properly unless i enable lazy loading.

This isn’t a problem for the products grid widgets on the home page, as the option for lazy loading is manageable on widget level.

However, for the archive page products widget there is not such an option. I only managed to fix it by enabling global lazyloading. After this it was fixed, however with lazyloading globally enabled new problems are caused.

The category icons widget now does not load properly, only after inspecting or zooming in -browser.

My question is, how can i set it up in a way all elements will display properly?

Please, disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us with your admin access. We will log in and check what is wrong there. You can leave only the following plugins that are required for our theme:
WoodMart core
WooCommerce
Elementor/WPBakery page builder

Do you mean that you want to enable it for the products element only? Or you don’t need lazy loading at all?

Have you tried in an incognito window? Because on my end, it also works when i’m logged into wordpress admin. I think you should debug in an incognito window.

No, the archive products are not working without lazy loading. Please watch my loom, you can see what is happening.

I don’t need lazy loading, however I found that the archive products in fact do work with lazy loading enabled. However, with lazy loading enabled globally the category widget breaks.

Ideally these would be good solutions:

1. to enable lazy loading for the archive products widget specifically (so not globally)
2. to enable lazy loading globally, however being able to exclude the category icon widgets for the lazy loading
3. a fix for making the category widget work with lazy loading

Well, there’s definitely a bug. I did some more debugging, and found that everything is working as it should in safari.

When in chrome, it just does not work. The products in the archive widget only load after page refresh, or when enabling lazy loading.

We tested it both in Chrome and Safari and it works well for us. If it doesn’t work in Chrome for you it looks like some cache issue. Could you please try to clear the cache and test how it works? Also, try to check it on a different computer if you have such an opportunity.
