Problem with Yoast SEO and post type “woodmart_layout”

I am writing to you because I have a problem with Yoast SEO plugin and WoodMart (post type “woodmart_layout”).

I have created on my website a woodmart layout for single product and I have installed Yoast SEO Premium.

My problem is that I don’t see the Yoast SEO option in the Elementor editor inside the woodmart layout.

I’m going to share with you privately the information that Yoast SEO has given me, since they tell me that their plugin is correctly configured so that their metabox appears both in the WordPress editor and in Elementor within the woodmart layouts.

The Yoast SEO team referred me to you to ask the following question: Do I need to configure anything in the WoodMart settings so that Yoast SEO can appear in the post type “woodmart_layout”?

I understand what you want to tell me, but I am not able to apply the solution you propose.

Maybe I have not explained myself correctly, I will try to explain you step by step my problem and what I need.

I will attach images (links at the end) and I will explain each of them so that you can better understand my explanation.

– Image 1, 2 and 3: Here I have created a WoodMart Layout to use it as a single product template, with the condition: “Show only in Citric Acid category”. Here I can’t use the Yoast SEO metabox, neither in the WordPress editor nor in Elementor, as this doesn’t appear even though in the Yoast SEO settings it is enabled for this type of post Layout.
– Image 4 and 5: I go to a product that meets this condition and I see that Yoast SEO appears both in the WordPress Backend and in the Frontend with the Elementor editor.
– Image 6: The problem is here, according to Yoast SEO I have no content in my product, but my single product template does appear with WoodMart Layout.

Because of this I can’t manage my SEO content well and receive the advice from Yoast SEO.

What I need to fix is the following:

– Have the Yoast SEO metabox appear in WoodMart Layout so I can focus the single product template to the keyword of each product (both in the Backend and Frontend with the Elementor editor).
– Or when I go to configure Yoast SEO on the product it will pick up the content from Woodmart Layout for me.

I hope I could have explained better, if the solution is the same as above using Woocommerce hooks, could you please explain me which one I should use and where for everything to work correctly?

You do not need that metabox when you edit the product with the help of the “Layouts” because it will inherit the settings of the metabox that is situated in the settings of the product (Dashboard -> Products). For the customer, values ​​from metaboxes are not output from layouts, but they output from the shop or product page metaboxes.
